Death of Quévin Castro
Quévin Castro, midfielder for Real Sport Clube de Massamá, died at 25 after collapsing during a training match against Estrela da Amadora in Malveira, Portugal, on Saturday.
Incident Details
The player suffered a malaise at the 10th minute of the match. He received on-field medical attention, including a defibrillator shock, and was immediately taken to the hospital. A doctor from Estrela da Amadora assisted in the care. The National Emergency Medical Institute (INEM) was called, but Castro did not survive.
